Startup Strategy & Advisory

Ricardo Celleri

I help founders and early-stage teams make the decisions that define their business — what to price and how, whether the market opportunity is real, and whether the numbers support the next move. I work hands-on to turn incomplete data and competing priorities into a clear answer your team can act on.

Pricing Strategy

SaaS pricing model design, packaging, and willingness-to-pay analysis that connects what you charge to the value customers actually receive — not just what the market will bear.

Unit Economics & P&L

Cost-to-serve modeling, gross margin analysis, break-even, and scenario planning that give founders a clear financial picture before making a major bet.

Market & Opportunity Assessment

Bottom-up market sizing, competitive landscape, and addressable segment analysis to answer whether the opportunity is real and which part of it to go after first.

Go-to-Market & Venture Strategy

From investment case and build/buy/partner decisions through launch strategy, commercial partnerships, and early sales motion — the work that takes a product from viable to in-market.

Building a business from zero to one takes more than a strong thesis — it takes financial discipline, clear milestones, and the willingness to pivot when the data challenges the original plan. That's the work I find most energizing. I started my career building data products and root-cause analyses in R, Python, SQL, and Tableau, then expanded into P&L management, SaaS pricing, market entry, capital allocation, and new venture creation. I move comfortably between the details of a model or operating process and the broader work of aligning a team around what the data actually supports.

I'm most energized by Series A and B companies — where the product has shown real potential, but the operating model, economics, and go-to-market approach are still being built.

I'm currently based in Chicago, IL. The best way to connect is on LinkedIn or by email.
